deaf-dancing-men Alive! by Mark Smith and Rachel Gadsden with Deaf Men Dancing has been showing over the summer at outdoor festivals across the UK. I saw it at the beginning of its tour of at Brighton Festival in May and at Liberty at its new venue on London’s South Bank on 3 September.

nick-blinko Last month I had the fortune to see Nick Blinko's exhibition in Pallant House Gallery's De'Longhi Print Room. The works on show fall into three clear styles: illustrations with a biographical element such as the drawing of the London Asylum; written works attributed to characters like Dr Fritz O’Skeenia and an extraordinary series of hyper-detailed abstract ink drawings.

peter-cuttsColin recently went to see the final year exhibition of the Arts in Inclusive Practice MA at Brighton University On 1 July I spent an afternoon at Brighton University attending a cross discipline symposium on disability. I was interested partly because I’ve always liked the work of the Rocket Artists and was intrigued to see work from a collaboration Peter Cutts, Outside In winner and Rockets artists, had undertaken with a student from the universities MA in Inclusive Arts Practice.
